We Hold Our Cycle in Manhattan

New York City’s Trailblazing Arthouse Film and Multiarts Event… with Central American flair

La Nacional -- the venerable Manhattan arts organization that has welcomed us since our founding -- is one of New York City’s old arts intitutions.

La Nacional, our host organization since 2011, harks back to old New York City’s Little Spain neighborhood, steps from the cobblestoned Meatpacking District on West 14th Street where it makes its permanent home. Founded in 1868 by Spanish immigrants, it still feels like an Old World social club, and has also kept its doors open to all Spanish-speaking communities. It has a reputation for its flamenco and tango classes, performances, exhibits and a range of social events. The gallery above shows the renovated salon, which holds 100 people. Our even seats up to 60 comfortably in the performance/screening room, which has a small stage, a screen and an excellent projection system.
