The summer version of our flagship Bronx World Film Cycle returns to parks, venues and other public and private spaces throughout The Bronx with a programme of world, US and NYC premieres. This is the borough’s “roving cinémathèque,” which brings films of relevance to the various enclaves and demographics that make up The Bronx.
This spring we broke new ground as the first Bronx-based film organization to be featured guest on Frame by Frame, CUNY-TV’s new broadcast programme that celebrates local film festivals, filmmakers and presenters.
Produced by José Luis Orbegozo, the team at Frame by Frame has chosen a selection of films from our catalogue to screen on their YouTube and streaming platform, and produced two 30-minute specials hosted by Executive Director Walter Krochmal and spotlighting three directors. These remain online in their archive.
