This app preview breathes life into the chronicle of the Virgin of Guadalupe’s appearances to a humble Mexican man in Tenochtitlán (ancient name for Mexico City) asking for a shrine to be built on Tepeyac Hill in her honor. Said chronicle, known as Los Monumentos Guadalupanos and part of the permanent collection of the New York Public Library, unfolds through animation, music and the voice narration of Executive Director Walter Krochmal.
