Bronx World Film Cycle, Summer 2025: Pioneering Arthouse Film Programme Returns to Bronx Communities with a Marquée of Local and International Works
The borough’s pioneer “roving cinémathéque,” first started in 2017, comes to various venues August 27th through Labor Day, September 1st.
20 films by 19 directors from 12 countries, with 4 US premieres and 1 New York City premiere. It also launches the Andrew Freedman Home’s Bronx Frame Screening Series.
“A Night at La Nacional” welcomes the advent of fall with another edition this coming September 16th after an evening of extraordinary works in animation this past August 19th. Our event continues to draw audiences passionate about the science and art of filmmaking and the unique perspectives offered by the young filmmakers of today from all over the world
